Fishing is permitted from the upper boundary at Zone 1 all the way down to the lower boundary at Zone 3. The purpose is to ensure that anglers move downstream during the fishing week and that the entire Kregnes fishing area is utilised. The condition for this arrangement is that anglers must practise active, mobile fishing. This means moving several steps after each cast. When fishing against the current from the opposite bank, conflicts with anglers fishing downstream should be avoided. Wading and the use of “guideline fishing” are therefore encouraged in order to prevent anglers from getting too close to each other. Please note that in some locations the boundary to the neighbouring fishing beat (Storhaugen) is very close to the riverbank. See the map for details. Cars must be parked in the designated parking areas shown on the map. The three shelters may be used freely – two of them are located at Zone 3 and one on the east side at Zone 1. Please show consideration for the surroundings. This includes keeping the shelters clean and removing any rubbish and food scraps. The small cabin, outdoor kitchen and covered dining table at the parking area may be used freely. After use, the cabin, outdoor kitchen and covered dining area must be left clean and tidy.
